Shimmy Shimmy Co Co-Op is a teacher-led parent cooperative preschool of ten families located near the North Berkeley/Albany border. A year-round, play-based program that operates Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 2 pm, it provides a safe and fun environment for three to five year-olds to develop self-confidence and learn healthy social skills.
Parents help out by working alongside the teacher two days per month, attending monthly work parties, and taking on a support position, such as site maintenance, curriculum, or recruitment.
